Revised: October 23, 2015
1. Managing Your Information Preferences
2. Profile Information Is Available to Others
By including any of your Personal Information or other information in your Blume profile, you will make it available to other users. For example, the Services will suggest possible matches to users based on certain criteria such as gender, age, and your approximate location (such as your current city and state or how far away you are down to 3 miles). Your public profile is shown to other users before matching, including your first name, one profile picture, your age, your distance away (e.g. 3 miles away), number of common Facebook friends, number of common interests, education, and job. After you are matched with another user, they can view your full profile, which adds more profile pictures, your interests, and your “About Me” description.
At any time, you can block/unmatch the people you have matched with from the ‘Chat’ section. You can also put your profile in “Offline Mode” on the Services to prevent other users from being able to see your profile. You can also delete certain of your Personal Information from your Blume profile. You can always delete your Blume profile using the account settings in your account. Please note that when you delete your account or other information, we may retain a copy of that information, however, it will not be viewable by other users of the Services.
