PRIVACY POLICY

Revised: October 23, 2015

Your information privacy is extremely important to us. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information and data when you use the Blume website (“Site”) and any Blume mobile application, and other services offered under the Blume name (“Services”). This Privacy Policy also explains your choices for managing your information preferences, including opting out of certain uses of your Personal Information (defined below). This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Site and Services. The Site and Services are provided by Blume Inc. (“Blume” “we” “our” “us”). BY USING THE SITE OR SERVICES, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

1. Managing Your Information Preferences

You can review, correct, update, or change your Personal Information or opt out of receiving certain e-mails by changing the relevant settings in your account. You are able to opt out of receiving marketing e-mails from us, however, you cannot opt out of receiving all e-mails from us, such as e-mails about the status of your account. If you have questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please e-mail us at privacy@getblume.com.

2. Profile Information Is Available to Others

By including any of your Personal Information or other information in your Blume profile, you will make it available to other users. For example, the Services will suggest possible matches to users based on certain criteria such as gender, age, and your approximate location (such as your current city and state or how far away you are down to 3 miles). Your public profile is shown to other users before matching, including your first name, one profile picture, your age, your distance away (e.g. 3 miles away), number of common Facebook friends, number of common interests, education, and job. After you are matched with another user, they can view your full profile, which adds more profile pictures, your interests, and your “About Me” description. At any time, you can block/unmatch the people you have matched with from the ‘Chat’ section. You can also put your profile in “Offline Mode” on the Services to prevent other users from being able to see your profile. You can also delete certain of your Personal Information from your Blume profile. You can always delete your Blume profile using the account settings in your account. Please note that when you delete your account or other information, we may retain a copy of that information, however, it will not be viewable by other users of the Services.

3. Be Careful When You Share Information with Others

Please be aware that whenever you share information on your profile page or any other public forum on the Site or Services, that information may be accessed by others. In addition, please remember that when you share information in any communications with third parties, that information may be passed along or made public by others. This means that anyone with access to such information can potentially use it for any purpose, including further disseminating it or sending unsolicited communications.
